Paolo is an Italian actor based in Edinburgh, working primarily for screen while maintaining a strong connection to his theatre roots.

His training began in Italy before naturally evolving towards screen acting in Scotland through the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where he continues to train regularly. Paolo believes acting is a craft best developed through constant practice, not only between jobs, and enjoys the discipline of continually refining his work.

Drawn to grounded, psychologically driven characters, he is fascinated by human behaviour and the subtle ways people think, connect and respond under pressure. He combines a thoughtful approach to character with strong physical awareness and enjoys developing disciplines that naturally bring these elements together, such as screen combat.

Away from the camera, Paolo enjoys running, strength training and spending time outdoors. He values genuine collaboration, brings calm focus to every project, and believes the most interesting performances begin with curiosity about people.
